Will iPad Air 3 Include Smart Connector?

​ Pictures were released over the weekend of an alleged case for the next generation 9.7 inch iPad.

Apple Insider reports:

Cases allegedly designed for a new 9.7-inch iPad were spotlighted on Sunday by Macotakara. They show a design largely in line with the iPad Pro, including a space for the Smart Connector, suggesting support for connected keyboard and other accessories could be expanded.

The new case also includes slots for a 4 speaker design resembling (sic) the iPad Pro and the hole meant for the camera is shaped like a droplet hinting to the addition of a flash. This would be a first in the iPad line up.

Let’s hope to see all the new hardware and software features we predicted at the upcoming March event.
