Logitech announced two new business headsets today designed to combat the 275 daily interruptions office workers face, according to the Microsoft Work Trend Index. The Zone Wireless 2 ES and Zone Wired 2 for Business bring adaptive noise cancellation and AI-powered microphones to tackle both sides of the open office noise problem.

Adaptive ANC That Actually Adapts

The standout feature is the hybrid active noise cancellation that automatically adjusts between high, low, and transparency modes based on your environment. Move from a quiet meeting room to a bustling cafeteria, and the headset switches modes without manual intervention. This isn’t just marketing speak—the system uses real-time environmental analysis to optimize noise reduction. Custom-engineered 40mm speaker drivers handle the audio output, while dual AI-powered microphones focus on isolating the wearer’s voice from background noise. The AI processing specifically targets common office sounds like keyboard clatter and nearby conversations.

Certification Without Complications

Both headsets are certified for Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet. The wireless model supports native Bluetooth for Teams and Meet, meaning you can connect without the USB dongle and free up a port. When you do use the dongle, smart enumeration automatically tells your system when the headset is powered off, preventing those awkward “can you hear me?” moments when your audio defaults to the wrong device.

Gaming Comfort Meets Office Endurance

Borrowing from gaming headset design, both models use an adjustable headstrap that distributes weight evenly across the head—crucial for all-day wear. The earcups rotate and adjust vertically, while the microphone boom swivels 180 degrees for left or right positioning.

Battery life on the wireless model hits practical benchmarks: 20 hours talk time with ANC on (25 with it off), and 25 hours of music playback with ANC (48 hours without). A 5-minute charge provides an hour of use, and the USB-C cable converts it to wired mode when needed.

IT Management and Sustainability

Logitech Sync enables remote management, including silent firmware updates pushed when devices are idle. This eliminates help desk tickets for routine updates.

On the sustainability front, the headsets use minimum 30% post-consumer recycled plastic, 100% recycled rare earth metals in magnets, and 100% recycled cobalt in batteries. Key components—headstrap, ear cushions, and batteries—are user-replaceable, with Logitech committing to multi-year parts availability after product end-of-life.

Pricing and Availability

The Zone Wireless 2 ES launches in November at $159 (Bluetooth only) or $179 (with USB receiver). The Zone Wired 2 follows in December at $129, offering the same features minus the battery and wireless components—a practical option for businesses buying in bulk.

Both models come in graphite, off-white, and rose colorways, with audio and ANC settings customizable through the Logi Tune app.
