Today a great actor, one that shaped more than a generation of sci-fi fans has passed away. If Star Trek did not have the success it deserved while on the air, it gained an awesome crowd as the years go by.

When I was young, I never felt attracted to the 60’s Star Trek, but as I went through all the different Star Trek series, starting with The Next Generation and currently closing the last few episodes of the third season of the Original Series, I grew to realize the greatness in what is the foundation of lots of sci-fi shows.

A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP — Leonard Nimoy's last tweet
