On Relay FM and the Memberships

From the beginning, Relay FM has been a community for podcasters, listeners and follow-uppers to share their common interests and passions. Now, with a Relay FM membership, you can directly support the hosts of your favorite shows.

Relay FM is not the first website to enable memberships as a way to finance its content. Earlier this year Federico Vittici of MacStories and Jason Snell of Six Colors used the service Memberful to create an healthy community of paying subscribers that have acces to original content on top of the site’s great, and free, content.

On the other end of the spectrum we saw lots of podcasts use the Patreon model to help earn some money for their creations. But what about podcast networks? How can you make it so that shows earn money from their fans and at the same time make sure fans of the network can tip monthly on all shows? Well, Stephen Hackett worked on this and using the Memberful platform you can now become a paying member with maximum flexibility!

There are two monthly plans, silver and gold and a yearly plan. All shows have three SKUs and the network itself also has three SKUs. This way you can give to one show or all shows!

Relay FM is an innovative podcast network growing in diversity, with original content and now more than ever with a well thought of monetization platform!

Best of luck, but I’m sure Myke, Stephen and the great hosts won’t need it!
